Since Tesla announced the purchase of $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin, it feels like a chain reaction. Many institutions have said that they have purchased bitcoin or are strongly considering participating in it. Even Jim Cramer of CNBC has said that it is irresponsible for enterprises not to put any bitcoin on their balance sheets. Well, of course, the company will take this suggestion to heart and choose to do something responsible, at least considering bitcoin.
Here are some examples of companies investing in bitcoin
On February 10, 2021, Twitter's CFO said the company was considering adding bitcoin.
On February 13, 2021, Morgan Stanley said it might invest in bitcoin through counterpoint global, its $150 billion investment arm.
On February 17, 2021, Rick Rieder, chief investment officer of BlackRock, announced on CNBC's squawk box that the asset management company had started to "dabble" in bitcoin.
Bitcoin is so popular that there is no reason not to believe it will continue to rise. |
